My life is always moving. I have always been someone who carries determination, structure, and a deep sense of responsibility. I set goals. I plan ahead. I stay consistent.
For a long time, I believed multitasking was a strength. It felt like progress. But over time, I’ve recognized something within myself that needed to shift.
A few months ago, my uncle paused me mid-conversation and reminded me that even with drive and determination, there is power in slowing down and focusing on one thing at a time. It was not new information. It was something I already knew but had not fully been living out.
When I recently saw that finishing something quickly would not allow me to give it the attention it deserves, I chose to step back and realign.
To every mother, every parent, every person continuing forward — give yourself your flowers. You are still here, still continuing, still showing up. That deserves recognition.
Focusing on one thing at a time is not limitation. It is alignment. It is choosing depth over distraction and trusting that what you are building deserves your full attention.
